"Dream Team"
Named

Four Great Britain internationals have been included in Rugby League World's dream team. Irish winger Brian Carney is selected after a fantastic year for both Wigan and the Lions while Sydney Roosters second-rower Adrian Morley also made the list.

Leeds centre Keith Senior and Bradford prop Stuart Fielden both retained their places in the line-up after making their debuts last season.

Seven Australians made the team, including five members of the Kangaroos' triumphant Ashes-winning squad.

New Zealand provided just two players - Francis Meli and Clinton Toopi - despite October's victory over Australia.

"After a long period of Australian dominance, it is especially good to see four Great Britain players in the mix again," said Rugby League World editor Tony Hannan.

"Despite the recent series whitewash, the 2003 World XIII is a sign that the standard of British rugby league is improving."
