Eagles sign Harris from Union

Manly have continued on their impressive buildup for next year by adding outstanding Rugby Union centre, Sam Harris to a two year deal. Harris, who was formerly a Manly junior was ecstatci to be returning to Brookvale next year and said he always wanted to come back and play league, a move no doubt hastened by the signing of Lote Tuqiri, Mat Rogers and Nathan Blacklock by Union.

With Harris at the club, Manly are starting to form a very competetive side for next year and will soon be at the top of the food chain again which is essential to the future of Rugby League.

In related news, the Bulldogs have signed GPS Knigs up and coming centre Daniel Conn. Terms of the deal were undisclosed but it is another slap in the face to John O'Neill and his cronies who are not learning any lessons and are losing quality players to league. Longmay it continue.
