Parramatta will today announce the re-signing of star winger Jarryd Hayne for a further two seasons, keeping him at the club until the end of 2010.
The Eels have organised a press conference for 9am this morning, but club chief executive Denis Fitzgerald has confirmed Parramatta have secured the NSW and Test winger on a contract extension.
South Sydney had attempted to recruit Hayne, but the 19-year-old decided to remain with the club which handed him his debut in 2006.
The Eels will now turn their attention towards retaining Kiwi Test centre and fellow young gun Krisnan Inu who is off contract next year.
