Hull F.C. made it through to their first ever Grand Final and ended the rein of engage Super League champions Bradford Bulls in a pulsating game at K.C. Stadium.

Hull opened the scoring with their first set of six when Richard Horne finished of a break from youngster and Man of the Match Danny Washbrook. The Bulls pounded the Hull Line but had three tries disallowed before Hull extended their lead with a Motu Tony try. The Black and Whites led 13-0 at the break as Paul Cooke slotted over a drop goal.

The visitors got straight back into the game with an early second half score from Brett Ferres. However, the hosts added to their lead when Kirk Yeaman fished off a good passing movement. Once again, the champions never lied down and got to within seven points with a Jamie Langley try.

As the game got into the latter stages both teams where out on their feet, but Hull?s magnificent defence kept Bradford at bay, allowing them to reach the Grand final and set up a mouth-watering re-match with St Helens at Old Trafford next Saturday night.
