Hull FC 26 Tries: Lee, Briscoe, Hall 3 Goals Tickle 3
Harlequins RL 6 Tries: Sharp Goals: Purdham
After suffering their 15th league defeat last week the Black and Whites showed some pride by racing up 16-0 after 15 minutes of the game. Tommy Lee opened the scoring with Tom Briscoe and Craig Hall adding others. Hull took a commanding 22-0 lead into the break as Hall added his second of the night.
The hosts continued to press in the second half and eventually the pressure told as Hall completed his hat-trick. Will Sharp finally got Quins on the scoreboard with a try on 63 minutes which turned out to be the last score of the game.
Quins suffered their ninth defeat in the last ten and this put a big dent in their hopes of making the play-offs, for the Black and Whites this was their biggest win of the season.
