ESL Preview - Round 2 - Salford
City v London Broncos

Salford City Reds coach Karl Harrison has been forced to ring the changes for the visit of London Broncos to the Willows on Friday night.

The Reds lost prop Paul Highton with a broken arm - he has undergone surgery and is facing a three-month lay-off - and centre Nathan McAvoy with a pulled hamstring in last week?s 15-4 defeat against Wigan Warriors.

And with another centre, close-season recruit Junior Langi, still recovering from a torn quad and front rower Andy Coley down with flu, Harrison says his resources are already stretched.

?We?re a bit light on numbers,? said the former Great Britain prop, who is hoping his side can build on their encouraging performance at the JJB Stadium.

?We played okay last week and, with a bit of luck, we could have won the game. But London have recruited very well, as they showed with their performance against Warrington.

?It was a good performance last week but still no points. The sooner we get two points on the ladder the better.?

New Zealand international Vinnie Anderson this week became the Broncos? 12th signing but he will not be here in time to make his debut at Salford and the Londoners are also without centre Mark O?Halloran, who suffered knee-ligament damage in Sunday?s 28-24 win over Warrington Wolves and is facing a six-week lay-off.
