ESL - Round 13 results

London Broncos moved into the top six of Tetley's Rugby Super League with a 40-18 win over Widnes Vikings in Aberavon on Sunday. The Broncos took their Round 13 clash to Wales, and they followed up last week's win at Bradford with a comfortable defeat of a Widnes side who trailed 34-6 at half time.

Dennis Moran continued his good run of form with two tries after bagging hat-tricks over the past fortnight, while Chris Thorman scored a try and six goals, with former Bronco Shane Millard scoring a double in reply.

The Bulls bounced back from the defeat last week with a 26-20 win at Hull, which had Richard Fletcher sent off at The KC Stadium in an incident which turned the game.

The match had been poised at 10-all when Fletcher was dismissed, but tries to Shontayne Hape and Lesley Vainikolo, added to Karl Pratt's earlier effort and seven Paul Deacon goals, gave Bradford the win.

Huddersfield left Halifax eight points adrift with 28-26 triumph. Huddersfield Giants ended their seven game losing run and piled more misery on bottom club Halifax with a 28-26 derby win at The McAlpine Stadium.

Two tries from Liam Finn were not enough for the visitors in a ding-dong affair, which saw Australian debutant Ben Roarty touch down for the Giants.

Wakefield defeated Warrington 32-12. Wakefield came from 12-10 down at half time at Belle Vue to get their fourth victory of the season, scoring 22 unanswered points after the break.

Brad Davis inspired the win with two tries and four goals to improve their position at the bottom of Super League.

Halifax RLFC, Hull FC and St Helens have been deducted 2 points due to Salary Cap breaches.
