Wigan captain Kris Radlinski is set to make his return from a hamstring injury in Friday?s game against Huddersfield.
The Great Britain full-back has missed the last four matches, three of which ended in defeat, but is expected to return to full training later this week.
?He?s pretty close to playing again,? said Warriors coach Denis Betts. ?He is a bit ahead of schedule and I?m hopeful.?
With Danny Tickle, Danny Orr and Brian Carney all returning for last week?s 28-22 defeat at Warrington, Wigan could field their strongest team of the season, with only long-term casualties Sean O?Loughlin and Gareth Hock remaining on the sidelines.
Huddersfield, who have not won at Wigan since 1962, are hoping to complete the double following their 24-16 win at the Galpharm Stadium last month.
The Giants are set to keep the side that beat London 34-24 last Sunday.
Wigan 18-man squad: Radlinski, Dallas, Aspinwall, Vaealiki, Carney, Orr, Moran, Seu Seu, Newton, Guisset, Hansen, Wild, Tickle, Godwin, Brown, McDonald, Sculthorpe, Allen.
Huddersfield 18-man squad: O'Hare, De Vere, Donlan, Thorman, March, Drew, Gannon, Nero, Roarty, Gene, Jones, Smith, Crabtree, Grayshon, White, Jackson, Clayton, St Hilaire.

McGuire has been out of action since breaking a bone in his hand at Wigan on April 15, but will return this week after missing the last four games.
The Rhinos also welcome back Marcus Bai, who missed the last two games after returning home to Papua New Guinea due to a family illness, although Keith Senior is still ruled out.
Commenting on the news, Head Coach Tony Smith said: ?Danny has had the plaster off his hand now and the doctors are happy with how it has healed.
?It?s good to have Marcus back involved in the squad as well. We picked up a couple of injuries last week at Leigh, it was a very physical game, so we will need to assess how the players come through over the course of the week to decide on our final line up.?
