Excitement builds in Townsville

The North Queensland league team has been well and truly caught up in the NRL playoff excitement.

The players headed to training yesterday at Dairy Farmers Stadium in Townsville only to find all the car parks in the ground were filled.

Hundreds of fans had turned up to wait in line to buy tickets to this weekend's playoff game against the Broncos.

The players could not find any room to park so had to leave their cars several blocks away from the Stadium and walk to training.
