Fensom in green until end of 2014
The Canberra Raiders have made another significant step in player retention today, with the announcement that Shaun Fensom has re-signed with the club until the end of the 2014 season.
Fensom was currently on contract with the club until the end of 2013, but was seen as a high priority for the Green Machine and has been locked away for the next three seasons.
It caps of a remarkable rise for the young Raiders lock, who captained the Raiders inaugural Toyota Cup team to a premiership in 2008. Fensom has since established himself as a regular NRL player for Canberra and is seen by Coaching staff as a future leader in green.
Fensom said he was happy to extend his current contract for another season and sure up his immediate future and said he hoped he could be part of something special in the seasons ahead for the Raiders.
