Ferris gets two weeks for dangerous
throw

Manly halfback Jason Ferris has copped a two-week suspension after being found guilty of a grade one dangerous throw charge at the National Rugby League's judiciary hearing.

The 26-year Ferris will miss Sunday's clash with the Bulldogs at Sydney Showground and a home match against Cronulla on June 21. The Sea Eagles opted to contest the charge arising from a fifth minute tackle on Wests Tigers fullback Robert Miles during Manly's come-from-behind 38-30 win at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.

Melbourne forward Mitchell Sargent and Sydney Roosters utility Michael Crocker will both miss one match after entering early guilty pleas to a grade one dangerous throw and careless high tackle charges respectively.
