Ferris to front judiciary tonight
Manly halfback Jason Ferris will receive a two-week suspension if found guilty of a grade one dangerous throw charge when he fronts a National Rugby League judiciary hearing tonight.
The Sea Eagles have decided to contest the charge arising from a tackle on Wests Tigers fullback Robert Miles during Manly's 38-30 win at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday. Ferris risks missing Sunday's clash with the Bulldogs at Sydney Showground and a home match against Cronulla on June 21.
Meanwhile, Melbourne forward Mitchell Sargent and Sydney Roosters utility Michael Crocker will both miss one match after entering early guilty pleas to a grade one dangerous throw and careless high tackle charges respectively.
