First ever Rugby League Tournament
in Singapore

History was created December 4, 2004 at Singapore Polytechnic Dover, Singapore. This was the first ever Rugby League tournament to be held on Singapore soil. The tournament was played as a 9 a side tournament and was a resounding success.

The one day tournament was organised by volunteer Singapore Polytechnic students and was officiated by the Rugby League Association (Singapore) management committee. There were three seperate divisions played on the day being U/16's, U/19's and open age.

Rugby League Association (Singapore) chairman, Graham Taimai quoted, "I did not hear any bad comments only good from the participants. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves"
