Former Origin greats band together to help Queensland

The recent floods in Queensland which has devasated the majority of the state and have been some of the worst in their history. There will be a monumental rebuilding effort ahead and after visiting, Mark Geyer has been working night and day, building up the minutes to put on a charity game between New South Wales and Queensland, rivals on the field but brothers on arms off it. All proceeds from the game, will be going to Queensland Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal.

Kicking off at 7:30 next Thursday, at Parramatta Stadium. Former origin greats like current Queensland coach Mal Meninga, dual international Wendell Sailor and many others on the Queensland side of things. New South Wales are no slouches either calling upon greats like Brad "Freddy" Fittler, hardman Mark Geyer plus other household names.

Tickets are currently on sale but going fast, with 14,000 plus tickets being sold already, just outlining the community spirit between the two states who are usually at each others throats to get behind the thousands of families effected and instructions for purchasing are below, with a full list of participating players.

Child (aged 4 - 15): $10
Adult (16+): $20
Family (2 Adults + 2 Child): $50
