Gasnier back in Blues side

Dragons Centre Mark Gasnier has been recalled to the New South Wales side for the third State of Origin game, to be played next Wednesday night.

Gasnier was sacked from the side in the lead-up to the first game of the three-match series after leaving an obscene voice message on the mobile phone of a Sydney woman.

He was also fined $50,000 by the Dragons.

Gasnier's Dragons team-mate Matt Cooper will pair him in the centres for the game.

Roosters captain Brad Fittler has been named in the side and will pair with Dragons skipper Trent Barrett in the halves.

Newcastle pair Timana Tahu and Matthew Gidley have been dumped from the side, as has Penrith's Trent Waterhouse.

The 2003 premiers and current third placed NRL side have just two players in the 18-man squad.
