Giants line up top entertainment for their fans

Excited Huddersfield Giants Officials are planning an exciting time for all supporters on Sunday when the Giants take on Leeds Rhinos (3pm). The Giants have pulled off a major coup by announcing that Pop Idol finalist Jade Hewitt is to appear within the club's pre-match entertainment in the battle of West Yorkshire.

Another coup for the Giants is the announcement the club has secured the services of Steve Long, the GB International Series Compere, for the season. Steve will be whipping the crowd into a frenzy in the build up to kick off, and will be giving away a whole host of prizes, including the new Bridget Jones DVD, courtesy of HMV.

Added to this, the Giants have assigned the Leeds game as 'Ladies Day' and are giving away goody bags to the first 50 Mothers who enter the Family Stand turnstile on Sunday (situated within the Lawrence Batley South End). Within the bags are lots of money off vouchers, coupons and small presents including hair discounts, 7-day gym passes, cuddly toys and chocolates.

Fans should also try to enter the ground early as the Giants are planning to unveil their new lean & mean mascot at the game- something not to be missed for Big G fans.

Not forgetting the resident dance troupe G-Force and the Autograph Zone, where fans can meet players such as Michael De Vere and collect autographs, the game is sure to be full of entertainment, both on and off the field!

Season ticket holders can still get a friend in for a fiver if they exchange their voucher in the back of their season ticket before the day of the game at the Galpharm Stadium Ticket Office.

Opening hours are:
