The Eels may just have turned their season around tonight as they defeated a patchy North Queensland side 28-18 in front of 8,104 fans at Parramatta Stadium.
A Kris Keating charge down that lead to a Joe Galuvao try in the second minute, incited a points explosion from the Eels as they ran out to a 14 point lead after 11 minutes. Jarryd Hayne then took over and he showed why he is so highly regarded when on song, as he danced, chipped, caught and generally did everything at a level or two above the other 25 players on the field.
