Hindmarsh
expected to miss next Test

Parramatta forward Nathan Hindmarsh is expected to be ruled out of Saturday's Tri Nations clash in Wigan against a desperate Great Britain.

The knee injury which forced the hard-working Eel to miss this year's NRL finals series is still causing some concern. The Australian team medical staff is expected to recommend Hindmarsh miss Saturday night's game at JBB Stadium and possibly return for the Kangaroos one-off international against France in Perpignan on Friday week.

If he comes through that, he has another game against Great Britain to gain some match fitness before the Tri Nations final at Elland Road in Leeds on November 26.

Kangaroo coach Wayne Bennett also has to make fitness decisions on back-up prop Jason Ryles who is being treated for a thigh injury and Willie Mason, who is a battling a shoulder injury. The Australians had a light day yesterday with a gym session but will hit the training park again today.
