International Origin Game 2 Review by Simon Reuben
The Exiles retained the international origin trophy as they eased past England in game 2 of the International Origin Series.
England shuffled their team, with Coach Steve McNamara's decision to rest four regulars, with three others unavailable, including the newly-retired former skipper Jamie Peacock.
The Exiles had nine survivors from game 1 but led by their experience halfbacks Daniel Holdsworth and Scott Dureau took the lead early on as Joel Monaghan broke down the flank and he fed Steve Menzies who gave the ball to Dureau with Brett Hodgson finishing the move off.
England had not looked like scoring until centre Ryan Atkins accelerated away from dummy half and raced 80 meters to score. Danny Brough's conversion levelled the scores but the comeback was short lived as the veteran Menzies made the break after taking Holdsworth
