Jarryd Hayne takes early guilty plea

The Pirtek Parramatta Eels have decided to take an early guilty plea for the grade two striking charge lodged against fullback Jarryd Hayne by the NRL video review committee as a result of his clash with Canterbury's Corey Payne last Friday night.
 
This will result in Jarryd being suspended for two matches. He will miss Sunday's home game against Gold Coast Titans and the clash with premiers St George Illawarra the following Sunday, May 1.
