Jason Stevens charged with knee
lifting

Sharks prop Jason Stevens has been charged with two counts of knee lifting by the NRL match review committee following the Sharks 22-6 victory against South Sydney last Saturday night.

There hasnt been a player cited for raising the knee since 2002. Former New Zealand and Dragons front rower, Craig Smith was eventually forced to leave Australia for the UK after being repeatedly suspended on charges of knee lifting.

If found guilty, Stevens faces two weeks on the sideline.
