Jones warns Warriors can step up
another level

New Zealand Warriors halfback Stacey Jones says his side has lifted a couple of notches in his absence after getting a scent of the NRL finals.

Jones will make his long-awaited comeback from a groin injury this Saturday against Wests Tigers in Auckland. The 27-year-old hasn't played New Zealand's heavy Test loss to Australia in Sydney on July 25.

During that period the Warriors have won four out of six matches, including last weekend's impressive victory over the Sydney Roosters. Jones says his teammates have stepped up a level because they're keen to play semi-final football and go one better than their 2002 grand final defeat to the Roosters.
