Judiciary news

Warrior's officials have decided to dispute the grading of a careless high tackle charge against their hooker Tevita Latu at the NRL judiciary tomorrow night. Latu was slapped with the grade five category and will be suspended for three matches if the club's bid to downgrade the charge fails.

Meanwhile, his buddy Monty Betham has been whacked with a six-match ban after taking an early guilty plead to a grade three dangerous throw on Wests prop Todd Payten.

Cowboy Josh Hannay will miss his team's appointment with the Wests Tigers in Townsville on Saturday night after also taking an early guilty plea to a grade one dangerous throw.

But Eels prop Aaron Cannings has slipped through the net on the same charge thanks to his impeccable record.
