Judiciary update

Parramatta prop Fuifui Moimoi will plead not guilty to a biting charge at the NRL judiciary tonight. The Eels frontrower was referred straight to the judiciary after Melbourne prop Brett White sent a written complaint to the NRL match review committee yesterday to back up his on-field claim in the 54th minute of Sunday's game.

Moimoi could have pleaded guilty and accepted a discounted sentence at the judiciary, but the club has said it will fight the contrary conduct charge. Moimoi's hearing will begin at 6pm (AEST).

South Sydney centre Adam MacDougall, meanwhile, has accepted a four-match ban after pleading guilty to striking Brisbane's Darius Boyd.

Canberra centre David Howell will miss the Raiders clash with ladder leaders Melbourne on Sunday after taking an early plea for a grade one dangerous throw on the Bulldogs Cameron Phelps in yesterday's 28-26 win.
