The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys today announced the signing of South Sydney second rower Justin Smith. The Cowboys were successful to gain the talented backrowers signature over some strong challenges from other NRL clubs. "Justin is a strong running backrower who is tough and reliable in defence, he also processes the ability to off load in tackles." "His goal kicking ability is another sting to an extensive bow, he will be a valuable asset to the playing roster."

The new signing is looking forward to moving to North Queensland and in particular the Toyota Cowboys. "The challenge of being part of taking the Cowboys forward is something I really want to be part of", he said. "The North Queensland Family lifestyle was also very appealing to me".
