Keebra Park aims to become just the third Queensland school to take out the Arrive Alive Cup when it faces Endeavour Sports High at Aussie Stadium this Stadium.
After beating Farrer Memorial Agricultural College 22-0 in the semi-finals a fortnight ago, the Gold Coast school has put itself in a great position to topple the defending champions.
Previously, the only other Queensland teams to win schoolboy rugby league?s most prestigious trophy were Palm Beach Currumbin State High (2001) and Wavell State High (2002).
Keebra Park last made the national final in 1987 when it lost 21-0 to Patrician Brothers Fairfield.
Keebra?s team for the final will be captained by hooker/five-eighth Matt Francis, a try-scorer for Burleigh in last week?s Mixwell Cup grand final.
Endeavour, coached by former St George player Jeff Hardy, will trim its 22-man squad following Friday?s Jersey Flegg semi finals.
