Kiwi squad named for Tri-Series
Final

Kiwis coach Brian McClennan expects the Gillette Tri-Nations series grand final against Australia to be an extremely tough contest.

The Kiwis take on the Kangaroos at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds on Saturday night in a match that will no doubt be filled with excitement and flair.

"Australia have shown plenty of good form coming into the game,"

McClennan said.

"We've had a few hiccups along the way."

The Kiwis have trained well this week despite a cold snap hitting Leeds.

"Our training sessions have gone well," McClennan said.

"I'm very pleased with what we've achieved this week.

"The team has really stepped up. They know this is potentially one of the biggest games of their careers and they've really impressed me with their attitude in the build-up."

McClennan has today named a 19-man squad for the game.

Frank Pritchard has been ruled out of selection after suffering a concussion in the Kiwis' clash against France last Friday.

The Kiwis squad is:

Louis Anderson Roy Asotasi David Faiumu Bronson Harrison Shontayne Hape Stacey Jones David Kidwell Ali Lauitiiti Iafeta Palea'aesina Paul Rauhihi David Solomona Motu Tony Clinton Toopi Nigel Vagana Manu Vatuvei Brent Webb Jake Webster Paul Whatuira Ruben Wiki ?.
