Lam out for up to three weeks

Wigan Warriors look set to be without star Scrum Half Adrian Lam for up to three weeks due to an ankle injury. Adrian hobbled off during Sundays 18-16 win at Wilderspool and will see a further specialist about the problem.

It means almost certainly he will miss the forthcoming games against the top two at Leeds and at home to Bradford, fixtures that will go a long way in determining where the Warriors will finish in the Tetley's Super League shake up.

There was however better news on Terry O Connor and Craig Smith who had injuries to their elbow and knee respectively, it is hoped both should be passed fit for Sunday's home game against Halifax. Paul Johnson and Andrew Farrell also picked up knocks at Wilderspool but again should be OK for the weekend.

Danny Sculthorpe is also set to return for the visit of Tony Andersons side, Scully has had an operation on his knee and last played at Huddersfield on 6th July.

Elsewhere in the camp it is a case of wait and see for Shaun Briscoe (ankle), Nick Graham (calf), Mick Cassidy (back) and Mark Smith (shoulder) who all missed the Warrington game.
