Leeds Rhinos continue their winning
ways

Leeds extended their lead at the top of the Tetley's Super League after a fine first-half display against Bradford. The Rhinos took control with two tries in the space of four minutes from Keith Senior and Willie Poching.

New signing Ali Lauitiiti then opened his Rhinos account just before the break and when Andrew Dunemann crossed the result was never in doubt.

Bradford hit back through Lesley Vainikolo and Stuart Reardon, but the visitors held on for an impressive win.

"It is a pleasing result and a good performance," said Leeds coach Tony Smith after watching his side win at the Odsal Stadium for the first time in nearly four years.

"But we could have scored more points. They (Leeds) are determined boys and they showed commitment.

"No disrespect to Bradford but we could have scored a few more tries."

Bulls' coach Brian Noble admitted Leeds deserved their win but remains confident that Bradford will bounce back.

"You take your hats off to Leeds, they were very disciplined. They were better on the evening and we have to accept that," he said.

"We are all extremely disappointed but we will get it together. We're in one of those periods when things are not going our way.

"We are pretty good at being front-runners, we have shown that over the years. I think we will be a force come the business end of the season," he added.
