Leeds Rhinos in the 2004 ESL Final against
the Bulls

The Rhinos booked their place in the Tetley?s Super League Grand Final with a dominant performance against Wigan, winning 40-12 at Headingley thanks in part to Marcus Bai?s hat trick.

Leeds will now face arch-rivals Bradford Bulls next week for the Super League Championship.

"We got back to how we have been for most of the year tonight," said Smith afterwards. "We were very Leeds-like.

"Our confidence was not a problem coming into the game, we just handled the occasion better than last week."

And Smith was quick to praise the contribution of Bai, while also highlighting Australian star Chris McKenna after a tremendous performance in the second row.

"Marcus Bai has been pretty good all year, and Chris McKenna was outstanding tonight," said Smith. "That was one of the best performances I?ve seen from him, either in a Leeds shirt or any other shirt.

"We have righted a lot of wrongs today, and we are happy we?ve earnt the right to be there next week.

"One of our themes throughout the whole year has been improvement, and that?s where our focus will be ahead of Saturday."
