Leo Nosworthy and Mark O'Neill inducted into Balmain Hall of Fame

The inaugural Tigers Ball held at Sydney Hilton tonight has seen Leo Nosworthy and Mark O'NeillĀ  inducted into the Balmain Tigers Hall of Fame.

Induction into the Hall of Fame is the Balmain Tigers highest individual playing honours. More than 400 people attended the Tigers Ball where past and present players joined officials, sponsors and supporters for a gala evening.

Nosworthy played in Balmain's 1948 grand final team and later coached Balmain to the 1969 premiership in his first season as first grade coach.

O'Neill played 223 premiership matches from 1994-2005 for Balmain Tigers and Wests Tigers. He was a member of the 2005 premiership winning Wests Tigers team.

Balmain Tigers Chairman David Trodden said both exemplify the spirit of the Tigers.
