Queensland fullback Darren Lockyer has failed to complete today's training session on the Gold Coast.
But the Maroons camp was quick to play down fears about its chief playmaker missing Wednesday night's return State of Origin clash in Sydney.
Lockyer had his left ankle heavily strapped and missed the least 15 minutes of the session at the Burleigh Bears football ground. Queensland remains in camp on the Gold Coast for the weekend before heading down to Sydney on Tuesday for the must-win clash.
