McKenna and Greenhill in Irish
squad

They've worn the maroon of Queensland and now Chris McKenna and Craig Greenhill are on the verge of pulling on the green of Ireland.

The former Cronulla players have been named in an Ireland rugby league squad for the European Nations Cup which starts in October. McKenna and Greenhill qualify for Ireland because of their heritage and have been selected in a 28-man squad by coach Darryl Powell.

McKenna played seven games for Queensland and two Tests for Australia while Greenhill appeared in six matches for the Maroons and is famous for being the first player sent off in an Origin match.
