Brisbane Broncos reserve forward Darren Mapp has injured his hamstring at training today, giving heavyweight winger Scott Minto another opportunity to play in the National Rugby League.
About to head off to Rockhampton to play for Brisbane's feeder club Toowoomba, Minto has been hurriedly added to the Broncos' 17-man squad to face Parramatta in Sydney tomorrow night.
At 99kg, Minto is big enough to play in the forwards and coach Wayne Bennett hinted the 24-year-old winger could spend some time in the pack against the Eels.
