Friday night the Broncos will face the toughest challenge of any team in NRL history, they will be trying to win a game with 19 players unavailable for the game, 20 if Harrison doesn?t play. The task ahead of the Broncos doesn?t get easier, they have to play the Tigers at Campbelltown. With Lamb looking to secure a new coaching contract and his Tigers looking to cement a place in the top 8, the ?Baby Broncos? will be facing a fired up Tigers outfit.
When a team plays a game they target the players with the least amount of experience, Lamb and his Tigers will have a whole host of rookies and inexperienced players to target. Lamb even gets to go up against a rookie coach in Craig Bellamy with Bennett on origin duty.
This could be a very interesting game though, with a Tigers team under pressure to win and game they should easily win, and a Broncos team with nothing to lose and everything to gain, the match has the potential to be a ripper of a game. The Tigers will go in as firm favorites but a lot can happen in 80 minutes of football. It?s now or never for the Tigers, they must win this game, if they can?t how can they expect to compete in the pressure cooker that is finals football.
