Monaghan has no problem playing
with O'Donnell

Canberra halfback Michael Monaghan says he'd like to see Luke O'donnell playing alongside him at Manly next year, despite the Wests Tigers forward putting him out of the game for nine weeks by breaking his jaw early this season.

Monaghan is set to join the Sea Eagles on a two-year deal and expects to sign next week.

He's heard whispers that Wests Tigers forward O'donnell, who was suspended for 11 matches for breaking Monaghan's jaw in two places in round two, may also end up at the club. The 23-year-old Monaghan says he feels no bitterness towards O'donnell and would like to see him playing for Manly.

Monaghan has forced his way back into first grade and is likely to start against St George Illawarra on Sunday at Kogarah despite being named on the bench.
