Morrison signs for Bulls

Parramatta back-row forward Glen Morrison has agreed to a three-year deal with engage Super League champions Bradford Bulls, according to reports in Australia.

The 30-year-old former North Queensland second rower was wanted by Hull coach Peter Sharp, who worked with him in his role as Parramatta assistant coach earlier this season. But Morrison has instead opted to join the Bulls next year.

Parramatta chief executive Denis Fitzgerald revealed on Monday night that Morrison had an opt-out agreement in his contract and that the Eels were happy to release the player from the final season of his three-year deal.

?When we initially signed Glenn, it was part of his contractual arrangement that we would allow him a release to play in England if the opportunity arose in his third year,? he said.

?Glenn has made a tremendous impact on everyone here at Parramatta and has given great service every time he has taken the field.

?He has a young family and this gives him the opportunity to finish his career before they start school.?
