Myles says he must perform

Under-pressure Queensland State of Origin forward Nate Myles fears he'll become the scapegoat if the Maroons lose to NSW on Wednesday night in Brisbane.

The Blues are hoping to prevent their first 3-0 series defeat since 1995.

An underdone Myles has made just one NRL appearance for the Sydney Roosters since round five and says he's feeling the pressure to perform for Queensland. Myles says he wants to justify the faith placed in him by loyal Maroons selectors and coach Mal Meninga.

The players will be given a break today, with skipper Darren Lockyer fronting the media this morning at Queensland's Gold Coast base.
