Newcastle winger Brian Carney won't be facing any further punishment from the NRL club after his run-in with authorities at a hotel in Sydney on Sunday night.
Police issued Carney with a $550 breach notice for refusing to leave the Steyne Hotel in Manly after an argument over use of a jukebox. The Great Britain international had been drinking with his former Wigan team-mate Matthew Johns who left without incident.
