NRL Round 6 Preview - Warriors v Panthers

New Zealand Warriors v Penrith Panthers
Mt Smart Stadium, Sunday 18 April 2010, kickoff 12:00pm AEST (2:00pm NZT)

No better way to get your Rugby League fix than with a midday game from Mt Smart Stadium. For those of you with pay TV, get comfortable and tune in for the magnificently one-eyed commentary that comes with every Warriors home game. Let's not forget the actual footy as this game will be a knockout. Literally in this case as the Panthers starting forward pack is at full strength with Trent Waterhouse, Frank Pritchard and Luke Lewis all named in the run on squad with Lewis moving to lock.

At any other time this alone would be enough to tip them, but this is not any other time. The New Zealand Warriors are playing fantastic football this year led by inspirational number 7 James Maloney and his halves partner Lance Hohaia. It takes a team with plenty of mental toughness to cross the Tasman and come back with two points. The Panthers are not yet that team.

Man of the Match Prediction: Wade McKinnon
Tip: Warriors 24-18
