NRL Round 7 Preview - Dragons v Roosters

St George Illawarra Dragons v Sydney Roosters
Sydney Football Stadium, Sunday 25 April 2010 (ANZAC Day) - 4:00pm kickoff

The St George Illawarra juggernaut is back on track after last week's impressive performance against the Titans. The only way this Roosters team can stop the Dragons momentum is to beat the living daylights out of Jamie Soward and Darius Boyd and get an early lead. Unfortunately the Roosters don't have it in them. Also - nobody uses this tactic in the NRL anymore which leaves last year's minor premiers with a distinct advantage.

This match will also continue the great rivalry of a now very popular Anzac Day match between these clubs. Traditionally a physical encounter where the aggression lasts for 80 minutes, we predict a similar story here which will no doubt excite the likes of Michael Weyman and Neville Costigan. Saints defence and go-forward will be the difference. Fans are looking forward to this match and it will be interesting to see how Mitchell Pearce and Todd Carney plan to attack the Dragons.

Lest We Forget.
