Yet another NRL coach has jumped before he was pushed - or is it a case of jumping while being pushed? And after another weekend which mixed some excellent football with some very, very ordinary performances, the speculation about the future of still more coaches (apart from those who have already jumped or been pushed) grows.

By announcing he will leave the Bulldogs at the end of the season, Steve Folkes has probably actually lengthened his career by around 20 weeks! Moves to sack him before the season goes much further will now surely be off the radar - or will they?
