Players from the Manly Sea Eagles and the Parramatta Eels are entitled to give their respective owners and board members a giant upper cut. The 2009 season is still more than two weeks away, but already the focus at both clubs is on board room brawls and not on whether the Sea Eagles can retain the premiership, or whether the Eels can do much better than they have done in recent years. The position at the Eels is not new. The divisions between the CEO, Denis Fitzgerald, and a group of former players have been around for years.
