Overnight Wrap

The NRL match review has a busy morning on its hands with a host of players set to come under scrutiny following incidents over the weekend.

Bulldogs backrower Brad Morrin will have the most to worry about with his alleged bite of Parramatta centre Timana Tahu likely to be referred straight to the judiciary without grading.

Tahu may also have a case to answer after slamming Morrin's head into the ground just moments before the Bulldogs forward lashed out at Telstra Stadium on Friday night.

Sydney Roosters lock Ashley Harrison may also be in hot water following an apparent headbutt of New Zealand Warriors playmaker Michael Witt yesterday while South Sydney centre Shannon Hegarty is likely to face a lifting charge following Saturday night's loss to Penrith.

On the injury front, Shaun Berrigan has played his last game for the Broncos after being ruled out for the season with a suspected broken eye socket and cheekbone following Manly's 21-8 win at Suncorp Stadium today.

Berrigan will link with English Super League club Hull next year. He has become the third international to suffer a season ending injury at the Broncos.

Brisbane also suffered injuries to Ben Hannant, who is expected to miss two to three weeks with a shoulder injury while Tonie Carroll is doubtful for next week also with a shoulder complaint. It soured Brisbane's 20th year tribute match against Manly.

In a mighty display, backrower Anthony Watmough scored three tries for the Sea Eagles.

In the Shire, Cronulla's season goes on the line tonight when they host ladder leaders Melbourne at Toyota Park to close out round 21.

The Sharks are on a six-game losing streak and need to win their last five matches to be any chance of qualifying for the finals, while the Storm will be keen to erase the memory of last week's loss to the Sydney Rosters with an improved performance.
