Panthers come from behind to win Flegg grand final
In a game where the Eels led for the majority of the match, it was the brilliance of Jarrod Sammut that proved the difference.
Both sides scored three tries a piece but the goal kicking of Sammut and a try in the 65th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides. A last second field goal from Sammut was the icing on the cake for the Panthers, and another bitter pill for the Eels.
Until then it was the Eels who were in control but they did nothing when in the lead and only have themselves to blame for being so negative when the game was there for the taking.
