The Penrith Panthers have defeated the Brisbane Broncos 13-6 at Suncorp Stadium this evening.
Following tries to Tony Puletua and Rhys Wesser, the Panthers held a handy 12-0 lead at half time.
The Broncos came back in the second half with a try to Dane Carlaw but Penrith were able to hold the home side out - Ryan Girdler kicking the decisive field goal with four minutes to spare.
