The Warriors opened the scoring through Clinton Toopi after just seven minutes and repeated the dose when Richard Villisanti crossed in the 13th minute.

But the Eels evened the ledger with tries to Nathan Hindmarsh and Luke Burt in the 19th and 21st minutes.

Robust winger Francis Meli put the Warriors back in front but two more tries to Parramatta proved the turning point and at half time, the Eels held a handy 22-14 lead.

The second half saw the Eels go further ahead with a try to Matt Petersen in the 52nd minute. The Warriors scored the last try of the match seven minutes before full time.
