Sea Eagles Cherry Ripe as second half swoop downs Eels

Cronulla Sharks have sought leave of appeal following the suspension of fullback David Peachey by the NRL judiciary last night.
Peachey was suspended for two weeks, and the season, following incidents in last weekend's Eels v Sharks match when Peachey was sent off for ignoring instructions from referee Shayne Hayne.
The Eels won the match by a record breaking 74-4 scoreline.
Hayne has since been dropped to the premier league. But this had no bearing on the judiciary who found Peachey guilty of a grade three contrary conduct charge.
Both the Sharks and Judiciary Commissioner, Mr Jim Hall, will present submissions to Judge Greg Woods in his chambers this afternoon. It's understood that decision will be handed down this evening or early tomorrow.
