Pete Moore to become Sheffield's
third Cardiff signing

It has been confirmed that Cardiff Demons' stand-off, Pete Moore will sign for National League Two side, Sheffield Eagles, this week. He has already agreed personal terms and becomes the third Demons player to join the South Yorkshire club with Welsh internationals, Aled James and Jon Breakingbury, already on their books. Moore, a Wales and Great Britain Student and Amateur International, has played for the Taffs Well based club since they joined the Conference in 2001, was instrumental in the Demons winning two trophies this season and was recently named in the 2004 Rugby League Conference Dream Team (Pete is pictured with his commemorative shirt for this award). Demons coach Wayne Williams commented, "It's sad to see a player like Pete leave the club but it's a good move for him and will be a great start to his professional career. Everyone at the club wishes him all the best."
