Player movements - Anasta &
Jensen

New South Wales pivot Braith Anasta has agreed to terms with NRL heavyweights the Sydney Roosters.

Anasta's manager Greg Willett has confirmed that the Bulldogs playmaker has chosen the Roosters over South Sydney and will link with the Bondi Junction rugby league club next season.

It is believed to be a three-year deal but Willett says the details will be finalised tomorrow. Willett says Anasta's relationship with Roosters and NSW Origin coach Ricky Stuart has been a major factor in his decision.

North Queensland has beaten off interest from southern NRL clubs to keep dynamic interchange player Rod Jenson in Townsville for another three years.

Atherton-born Jenson has agreed to terms with the Cowboys after South Sydney led a charge for his services. The former Canberra three-quarter has proven himself to be a key member of the Cowboys line-up by making an impact off the bench both in the ruck and out wide.
